Meet Khrystal
Khrystal Johnson, LPC
“Welcome. I’m Khrystal, founder of Blue Camas Healing & Wellness. I'm a Black and Native American/Indigenous Licensed Professional Counselor. My practice emerges from a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and interpersonal lens of empowerment. I focus on culture and identity incorporating creative healing and indigenous ways of knowing into the work.
I offer trauma-informed therapy grounded in interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB), somatic regulation, and creative healing. My work helps people feel safe in their bodies, reconnect with their nervous system, and reclaim their lives using brain-based and heart-centered practices.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. I received my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology at Pacific University. I gained additional training in Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), trauma-informed practices, treatment of ADHD, Relationship Therapy, Emotional Brain Training (EBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and therapy for BIPOC."

Me Outside of Therapy
I am a Black and Native woman enrolled in the Umatilla Tribe in Oregon. I am a Pisces Sun, Aquarius Moon, and Leo Rising. I am an INFP-A. I have a daughter and two dogs: one is a 170-pound Black Russian Terrier and the other is a 35-pound Mini Bull Terrier. I love the seasons and the outdoors. I will often try to follow the change in seasons by gathering, picking, hunting, fishing, exploring, and other cultural/traditional practices. If I have nothing but free time, I will be reading, playing video games, puzzling, beading, being with friends or family, or wandering in nature.
